Ingredients

2 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 cup of mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries) for topping

Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Base: Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it flat on the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Pinch together any seams to create an even layer.

Mix the Cheesecake Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add in the granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Mix until well incorporated. Then, add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Finally, sift in the flour and mix until smooth.

Layer the Filling: Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crescent roll dough layer in the baking dish, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.

Top with Dough: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and gently lay it over the cheesecake filling. Pinch the seams together to close any gaps. You can also make a lattice pattern if you desire a more decorative look.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheesecake filling is set.

Cool: Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 30 minutes. Then transfer to the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and the bars to firm up.

Serve: Once chilled, slice into squares or rectangles. Top with fresh mixed berries and a dusting of powdered sugar if desired before serving.
