Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 lb chicken breast, sliced into strips

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper, diced (any color)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Season the Chicken: In a mixing bowl, toss the sliced chicken breast with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken strips and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Shrimp: In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed. Add the shrimp and season with the remaining Cajun seasoning. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through. Remove and set aside with the chicken.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Liquids: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a gentle simmer.

Combine Ingredients: Stir in the cherry tomatoes, smoked paprika, and grated Parmesan cheese. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Mix in Pasta and Proteins: Add the cooked fettuccine, chicken, and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce.

Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving for an added touch of freshness.
