Ingredients

1 pound fresh crab meat, picked over for shells

1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni

3 tablespoons butter

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper, diced (red or green)

1 cup celery, diced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and celery, sautéing until softened (about 5-7 minutes).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables, cooked macaroni, crab meat, shrimp, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.

Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix the shredded cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the casserole.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
