2 cups cooked white or brown rice

2 cups fresh broccoli florets (or frozen, thawed)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup cream of mushroom soup (or homemade version)

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for topping)

2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Prepare the Broccoli: If using fresh broccoli, steam the florets in a microwave-safe bowl with a little water for about 3-4 minutes until tender, then drain. If using frozen broccoli, ensure it's thawed and drained.

      Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, steamed broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, black pepper, salt, and paprika. Stir until well combined.
