Ingredients

4 cups mixed greens (romaine, spinach, and arugula)

2 medium tomatoes, diced

1 avocado, diced

4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced

6 oz cooked bacon, crumbled

1 cup grilled chicken breast, diced

½ cup crumbled blue cheese

¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced

½ cup ranch or blue cheese dressing

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh chives, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients:

    - Start by hard boiling the eggs—place the eggs in a saucepan, cover them with water, bring it to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes. Once done, place them in an ice bath to cool. Peel and slice once cooled.

      - Cook the bacon until crispy in a skillet over medium heat. Drain on paper towels and crumble once cooled.

        - Grill or pan-sear the chicken breast until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes per side. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then dice it into bite-sized pieces.

          Assemble the Salad:

            - In a large salad bowl, layer the mixed greens as the base.

              - Arrange the diced tomatoes, avocado, hard-boiled egg slices, crumbled bacon, grilled chicken, blue cheese, and red onion on top of the mixed greens neatly in rows.

                Dress the Salad:

                  - Drizzle your choice of dressing (ranch or blue cheese) evenly over the salad. You can use as much or as little as you prefer.

                    Season:

                      - Lightly season with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle chopped fresh chives on top for a burst of color and flavor.

                        Serve:

                          - Toss the salad gently, or serve it as is for a stunning presentation.
