Ingredients

1 box of chocolate cake mix (15.25 oz)

1 cup creamy peanut butter

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)

1 cup peanut butter chips

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup water

Optional: whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, peanut butter, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer on medium speed to mix until well combined and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

In a separate bowl, mix together the powdered sugar and water until it forms a smooth paste. Drizzle this mixture over the cake batter.

Next, sprinkle the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips over the top of the batter. Use a spatula to gently swirl the chips into the mixture, but don’t mix them in completely; let them settle at the bottom during baking.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet).

Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving. This cake is delicious warm or at room temperature.

Optional: Serve with a scoop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream to complement the rich flavors.
