Ingredients

For the Shrimp:

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

Zest of 1 lime

Juice of 2 limes

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Tacos:

8 small corn tortillas

1 cup red cabbage, finely shredded

1 avocado, sliced

1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)

1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

Extra lime wedges for serving

Instructions

Marinate the Shrimp: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp and toss well to coat. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

Warm the Tortillas: In another skillet or on a grill, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side or until they are pliable and slightly charred. Keep them warm by wrapping in a clean towel.

Assemble the Tacos: On each tortilla, add a handful of shredded red cabbage, a few shrimp, a couple of avocado slices, and a sprinkle of cilantro. If desired, top with feta cheese and a dollop of sour cream or yogurt.

Serve: Squeeze extra lime juice over the tacos, serve with lime wedges on the side, and enjoy your bright and zesty Chili Lime Shrimp Tacos!
