Ingredients

1 large loaf of French bread

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (can use rotisserie chicken)

6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 cup ranch dressing

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened

¼ cup green onions, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Bread: Cut the French bread in half lengthwise and hollow out the inside of both halves to create a boat for the filling. Set aside the removed bread for later use.

Make the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Stuff the Bread: Generously spoon the chicken and bacon filling into the hollowed-out French bread halves. Press the filling in gently to pack it tightly.

Cover and Bake: Place the stuffed bread halves on a lined baking sheet. Optionally, you can sprinkle some additional cheddar cheese on top for extra flavor. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Brown the Top: After 15 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

Serve: Once baked, let the stuffed bread cool for a few minutes. Cut into individual portions, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
