Ingredients

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (can use rotisserie chicken)

1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup water

4 large eggs

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Chicken Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, shredded mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated. Set aside.

Make the Dough: In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in flour until the mixture forms a smooth ball (you may need to use a wooden spoon or spatula).

Add Eggs: Let the dough cool for a few minutes. Then, one at a time, add eggs, stirring vigorously until each egg is fully incorporated and the dough is smooth and shiny.

Pipe the Crazy Puffs: Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a large round tip (or simply use a zip-top bag with a corner snipped off). Pipe small rounds (about the size of a golf ball) onto the lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Fill the Puffs: Using your finger or a small spoon, create a small indentation in the center of each puff, and carefully fill with the chicken Alfredo mixture.

Bake the Crazy Puffs: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the puffs are golden brown and puffed up. Rotate the tray halfway through for even baking.

Cool and Garnish: Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Serve: Enjoy warm as a delicious appetizer or a fun party snack!
