Ingredients

1 can (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup pepperoni slices

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated (for topping)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: On a clean surface, unroll the refrigerated pizza dough. Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to slice the dough into approximately 2-inch squares.

Fill the Dough: In the center of each square, place a small amount (about 1 tablespoon) of shredded mozzarella cheese and 2-3 pepperoni slices. Sprinkle a pinch of dried oregano, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes over the top.

Seal the Bombs: Carefully fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pinching them together to create a sealed ball. Ensure there are no openings for the cheese to escape during baking.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the sealed pizza dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.

Brush and Bake: In a small bowl, mix olive oil and grated parmesan cheese. Brush the tops of the pizza bombs with the olive oil mixture. This adds flavor and helps them achieve a golden brown color.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the dough is cooked through.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, garnished with optional fresh basil leaves.
