Ingredients

For the Beef Skewers:

1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

For the Peach Salsa:

2 ripe peaches, diced

1/2 red onion, finely chopped

1 small jalapeño, seeds removed and finely diced

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well. Add the cubed sirloin steak, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for maximum flavor.

Prepare the Salsa: While the beef is marinating, prepare the peach salsa. In a medium bowl, combine the diced peaches, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste. Gently stir to combine. Refrigerate until serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F/200°C). If using wooden skewers, ensure they have been soaked in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Assemble the Skewers: Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking. Aim for about 5-6 pieces of beef per skewer.

Grill the Skewers: Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Grill for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is nicely charred and cooked to your desired level of doneness (135°F for medium rare, 145°F for medium).

Serve: Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Serve warm topped with the fresh peach salsa.
