1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup ranch dressing

1/2 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Tortilla chips or sliced baguette (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded chicken, barbecue sauce, ranch dressing, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is creamy.

Add Cheddar: Fold in 3/4 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese, reserving 1/4 cup for topping the dip.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Spread the mixture evenly into a medium-sized oven-safe baking dish.

Add Toppings: Sprinkle the reserved cheddar cheese on top of the dip.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbling and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.

Garnish: Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Serve: Serve hot with tortilla chips or sliced baguette for dipping. Enjoy your smoky, creamy barbecue chicken dip!
