Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Zest and juice of 1 lemon

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon slices, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easier cleanup.

Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and rub it in. Season them generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and paprika.

Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon for about 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and is cooked to your liking. Cooking time may vary slightly based on the thickness of your fillets.

Make the Lemon Butter Cream Sauce: While the salmon is baking, prepare the sauce. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the heavy cream and whisk until well combined.

Add Lemon Flavor: Stir in the lemon zest and juice, and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, allowing it to thicken slightly, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat.

Serve: Once the salmon is done, transfer the fillets to plates. Drizzle the lemon butter cream sauce generously over the salmon. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon slices on the side.

Enjoy: Pair with your favorite sides, such as asparagus or a light salad, and enjoy this delicious, creamy, lemony salmon dish!
