3 cups cooked egg noodles

2 cups shredded cooked chicken

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked egg noodles, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and mixed vegetables. Stir until well combined.

      Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly to ensure all the ingredients are evenly seasoned.

        Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with a bit of olive oil. Pour the noodle mixture into the baking dish and spread it out evenly.

          Top the mixture with the shredded cheddar cheese, spreading it over the top generously.

            In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and olive oil, mixing until the breadcrumbs are well-coated. Sprinkle this mixture over the cheese layer.

              Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

                After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

                  Once baked, take it out of the oven and let it sit for about 5 minutes. If desired, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
