1 large apple (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled and thinly sliced

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough

1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1-2 tablespoons milk (to adjust consistency)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Prepare the Apples: In a medium bowl, toss the thinly sliced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until coated evenly. Set aside.

      Roll Out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean, flat surface. Pinch the seams together to create a single rectangular sheet.
