Place the loaf of bread on a cutting board. Using a serrated knife, slice the bread into 1-inch thick sections without cutting all the way through, leaving the base connected.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. If you'd like some heat, add the red pepper flakes as well.
Use a spoon or brush to generously drizzle the garlic butter mixture between the cuts of the bread. Make sure to get the mixture deep into each slice.
Gently pull apart the slices and stuff shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into every other or every slice depending on your cheese preference. Be generous for the best cheesy pull-apart experience.
Wrap the entire loaf in aluminum foil, ensuring it's well sealed to keep the bread soft and delicious. Place on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes.
After 15-20 minutes, carefully unwrap the foil to reveal the delicious bread. Return it to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes to crisp up the top and melt the cheese beautifully.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Serve warm, pulling apart the cheesy slices to enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to adjust the cheese and herbs to your liking.
